Fathom Events and Warner Bros. brought Superman: The Movie to select cinemas nationwide to celebrate its 40th Anniversary! Members of Superman Fans and Collectors of Hawaii attended the first showing at Dole Cannery Stadium 18 on Sunday, November 25th, 2018 at 3 pm. Just prior to the movie, there was a special showing of the fan favorite 1941 Max Fleischer Superman animated short The Mechanical Monsters… Superman’s very first animated appearance! The movie was presented in 4K and also featured a mini documentary about the film.
