In 1988, During Superman's 50th Anniversary,Ruby/Spears Enterprises aired a series of animated Superman cartoons on Saturday mornings on CBS which featured the voice of Beau Weaver. The show debuted September 17, 1988 and ran 30 minutes an episode. The series ran for only one season (13 episodes) primarily due to scheduling problems. The end of each episode featured the award winning seires of shorts called "Superman's Family Album" which is still remembered fondly by countless fans.
